Neil Saunders
BA (Hons), MBACP, Dip CBH, Dip CBH
Neil is a BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) registered psychotherapist with a post-graduate diploma in person-centred counselling from the Norwich Centre. He is also qualified in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy. He has been in practice since 2021.
Neil uses his training in evidence-based modalities to inform an integrative approach, allowing the process of therapy to adapt to your needs rather than following a fixed model. His person-centred approach enables him to work with a wide range of issues and his knowledge of cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy offers another useful lens which can also provide techniques for managing stress, reducing anxiety and changing behaviours.

Neil offers a safe, confidential, collaborative space to work together with clients to navigate a process of positive change, working at a pace that is right for you - from anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship issues, phobias – or a general sense of overwhelm from the pressures of the modern world, a desire for a deeper understanding of oneself, the challenging of recurring patterns – or finding a sense of purpose, meaning or direction.
Neil is a graduate of Newcastle University with a background in education. Before training as a therapist, he worked in a number of challenging educational settings in both London and Norwich. During this period, he developed an interest in mental health, trained in mindfulness and worked with the Samaritans before training in talking therapies.
